Had to call ooh doctor out. He came within half hour.
I suspected the return of a carcinoma so I was seen really quickly, and treated well, with great professionalism and empathy.
I’m usually fit and well
Very nice manner
Because I was told it would be quicker to call 111
Promp service
Prompt efficient service. I cannot fault the care I received
Despite the fact that I was told that they would know about my arrival in accident & Emergency we needed to go through the triage process and several other steps before I was seen. This was a frightening time and I was in a lot of pain. I was also frightened because I thought that I might be having a serious complication as the result of blood clots. I sat in a chair in an and E and it’s environs for 36 hours before I found a place on a ward. It does not matter how kind, respectful and compassionate people are working. In these extreme circumstances, they are just not able to provide the care that is necessary. I was fortunate enough to have family around me, asking the right questions and making sure that things got done. There were other people who did not and were just forgotten about.
I don't have any of the conditions listed.
The GP who called me back was very good, very understanding. Advised and helped where possible.
